Ever since Arrow first started the first thing I noticed was the amount of hate Katie/Laurel received. I could never understand it, I still don’t. It breaks me that so many people don’t like her when all I see is one of the most dynamic tv characters to ever be written. If anything more people should love her, but I can’t force any of you in Arrow fandom to do so. All I could have asked of you was to keep your hate out of the Laurel Lance and Katie Cassidy tags and yet none of you have enough respect to do so. About half the posts in their are pointless rants about how much they wish they would just kill off her character or about how anorexic they think Katie has become.
This hate just continues to grow and it really sucks for the few of us who enjoy this actress and character. I wouldn’t mind as much if maybe it was one or two posts of random hate statements, but this is a constant occurrence. You could pretty much call her tags the anti tags. I’m not going to sit her and explain how irrelevant all of the points are though.
Instead I’m creating a new tag for fans WHO LOVE LAUREL/KATIE. And I swear if I see one person tags hate in them I will make sure they will pay. Also you don’t have to use any of these tags, but these will be the ones I will be checking from now on, however, I will still tag my edits/gifs/posts with the regular Katie and Laurel tag.
Below are the tags I will be using and think you should use as well (if, of course, you are a fan):
- (katie cassidy)
- (laurel lance)
ADAM: All signs point to Severide, who might stumble into a romance with Det. Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush) that would connect the shows. “There’s an interesting chemistry between [them],” executive producer Matt Olmstead says. “They’re kind of cut from the same cloth, so it’s something that we’re exploring.”
The Little Mermaid (1989): “She’s got legs you idiot!!”
My inner rock chick has always been there. I grew up listening to a lot of rock music through my sisters, who were teenagers while I was young, so they had control of the radio.
This wasn’t a great year, but tumblr always made me feel special and save and i’m very thankful for that, and for you. I’m speechless, so, i’ll just thank you guys for another year, and tell you that you really mean a lot to me. 2014 will be an amazing year for all of us, i know that. And an amazing Xtmas. Love you!

“I wanted to be a doctor when I was a kid, but I started doing theater in high school because it was a requirement. At first, I was completely irritated. You know, at the time I was playing volleyball, and I just thought it was a major inconvenience. But I ended up loving it. I made a decision to follow through with it because I never enjoyed anything as much as being up onstage and being someone else. So I decided to pursue it, and voila!”
“I think she is growing up, and so begins to dream dreams, and have hopes and fears and fidgets, without knowing why or being able to explain them.” ― Louisa May Alcott, Little Women
